Cartoons
I first started this page in late 1997, when there were somewhat fewer cartoons
available online, and I listed four cartoons. In mid 1999, an email from Erik Sansom (Toy
Trunk Railroad) brought to my attention that I had let this page get severely out of date.
These lists are not intended to be exhaustive - if they were, they'd be updated more
than a handful of times a decade.
Single strip comic sites:
- Bob, the Angry Flower
Bob's a bit of a freak. I mean, he's a Flower. No wonder he's so
choleric.
- Callahan Online
Single frame B&W cartoons
- Crackbaby
Dark and twisted, as the title indicates.
- Dilbert
Scott Adams' wonderful cartoons speak to the heart of programmers everywhere. What more
need I say?
- Helen, Sweetheart of the Internet
Peter Zale shows that it isn't just men out here keeping the systems running.
- Kevin & Kell
This is waiting for a review later.
- KRUD Radio
KRUD radio is fictional, but it shows that broadcasters have just as much hassle as
computer techies.
- Goats
Yet to be reviewed
- Mother Goose & Grimm
A goose and a dog?
- PVP
The PvP strips are inspired by computer gaming.
- Red Meat
Hmmm. Strange.
- RibMan
A 90's take on a superhero.
- Sluggy Freelance
I'll let you know.
- Space Moose
Weird, too.
- The Dysfunctional Family Circus
A satire on the Family Circus strip
- The PARKING LOT is FULL
Single frame cartoons a little reminiscent of Gary Larson's Far Side.
- Toy Trunk Railroad
Well, this is a new strip to me, but Erik asked me to list it, so I have.
- User Friendly
Since 1997, User Friendly has been publishing technically literate cartoons that threaten
to depose Dilbert from his throne.
- Zippy the Pinhead
Seemingly designed to occur last in any list.
